As a passionate pioneer of ‘zero waste cooking’, chef Sasu Laukkonen of one Michelin starred ORA in Helsinki, truly understands the importance of knowing the ingredients he’s working with inside out.

With a cooking-style strongly centred around wild and organic produce, Sasu will bring a his talents to Geiri Smart Restaurant for this years Food and Fun Festival.

When asked what differentiates him from other chefs Sasu says:

“I’m not only a chef – I used to work in front of the house before I started cooking. So I think I have a wider view on the hospitality and am not focused only on food. I enjoy being in the dining room with my guests.”
