Dak was born in Thailand and at the age of seven she and her family moved to Denmark.

As far as she can remember she has always helped out in the kitchen, both as a young girl in Thailand and then in Denmark as she grew up.

When Dak reached her student years she had no doubt in her mind that she was going to become a chef. She applied as an international student at Silkeborg Hotel and Restaurant college and after her first semester she moved to Aarhus where she got her dream-job as a chef at restaurant Koch in Aarhus.

When she completed in 2010 she applied for the job as a chef at Kiin Kiin in Copenhagen, the reason being that she wanted to get back to her roots but still work in fine dining.

She has now been at Kiin Kiin for one year, and in that year gone form Chef to Sous-Chef.
