Full Bio: 

Luigi Pomata is Italian chef and has his restaurants in beautiful island of Sardinia. There he is chef and runs his restaurant carring his name Ristorante Luigi Pomata.  He is also the executive chef of his family restaurants Da Nicolo, Niko Bistrot and Niko Cafe..


His speciality is clearly the Mediterrean cooking and fish is his favorite. He also loves lamb and is a long time fan of the unique Icelandic lamb. He has a long career in the cooking and was the Italian participant in Bocuse d’Or the year 2003 after winning the competition in Italy 2002.

He has been working with Marco Piere White in the renown restaurant the Oak Room as a sous-chef in 1999 – 2000 which had three Michelin stars.
He is a popularar TV person in Italy where he has been appearing regularly from 1999.
