Moscow-born Anya von Bremzen has been a contributing editor at Travel + Leisure magazine for over a decade, and writes regularly and food and travel for Food & Wine, Saveur, and Departures magazines. Her articles have also  appeared in The New Yorker, Men’s Vogue, and Los Angeles Times, among other publications.

Anya von Bremzen is the author of five acclaimed cookbooks and a recipient of two prestigious James Beard Awards and several nominations. She has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs and conducted cooking classes throughout the U.S.. She has appeared on numerous TV and radio programs, participated in food and wine conferences all over the world, and conducted cooking classes throughout the U.S.

She is the author of five cookbooks, including the highly acclaimed PLEASE TO THE TABLE: the Russian Cookbook, winner of the James Beard Foundation award for best international cookbook, as well as FIESTA!: A Celebration of Latin Hospitality, another James Beard award winner, and THE NEW SPANISH TABLE, which has has earned a James Beard Award nomination. In addition Von Bremzen has also been nominated for numerous Beard awards for her journalism, and her articles have been featured in the prestigious BEST FOOD WRITING compilation.
